Mount Hope is one of my favorite spots in Baton Rouge for an outdoor wedding. I love this venue! Chelsea and Ben’s wedding day last November was a favorite of mine, so I wanted to share it with you guys. Chelsea was a creative, crafty, DIY kinda bride. She made her own bouquet along with all the other florals used for the wedding day, and they looked amazing! I’m still so impressed! Chelsea was my ideal bride… laid-back, easy-going, and just so so happy to be getting married to her man. The day was so easy and effortless with Chelsea, Ben, and their friends and family. While most of her guests were Louisiana locals, most of his guests traveled in from New York… so you know this combination made for a GOOD party!
Their ceremony was beautiful and felt very intimate. I can remember getting chills as Chelsea walked down the aisle to the song “Georgia” by Vance Joy. Oh, and I forgot to mention that their dog-daughter Hazel was their FLOWER GIRL! (if you know me, you know I’m dog obsessed, so this made me extremely happy)
This was my first experience photographing a Jewish wedding, and I loved getting to witness some of their fun traditions! Everyone was so kind, and they were all having the best time ever. They danced (and sweated) the night away in celebration of Chelsea and Ben! I loved every minute of documenting this wedding!
Here are my favorite shots from their big day! xo
