I met Kate when she was serving as Maid of Honor in the wedding of one of my past couples. (Cuties, Morgan + Landon) I remember thinking to myself, “I like that girl. I hope she calls me one day when she starts planning a wedding.” Then later that night at the reception, I took a photo of Kate and Clint together. Then I thought, “Okay, I really hope they call me when they decide to get married! They are so freaking cute together.”
Needless to say, I was so happy when Kate reached out to me and said they wanted me to be their wedding photographer! Yay! They were just as cute together and fun to work with as I imagined they would be.
Kate and Clint met while they were both working at Ruffino’s Italian Restaurant in college. They were friends before they ever started dating, and I feel like you can really see that in their relationship. They’re goofy together and laugh at each other constantly. I love when couples are that comfortable with each other. I kept looking at them and thinking they look like Barbie and Ken, only way cooler. We visited Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville and explored around different areas. It was one of those days where the light was just perfect, and we shot near the lake until the sun disappeared. I just couldn’t stop with these two. : )
I seriously cannot wait to watch them get married in July! This is gonna be such a good one. They couldn’t stop smiling throughout their engagement shoot, so I can only imagine the smiling that will happen on the wedding day.
