Anna and William tied the knot on a sunny Sunday morning in New Orleans.
Anna wore a beautiful champagne-colored dress, and her ladies wore white. The venue had that always lovely New Orleans vibe, and the space was flooded with natural light. Live jazz music filled the room from start to finish.
Anna and Will wrote their own vows, and they were heartfelt and personal. I remember hearing a mention of cats somewhere in the mix, which reminded me one more time of how much I love this couple. These are my people! Ideal bride and groom right there.
Oh, and the food…
An omelette station. The most delicious bacon I’ve ever eaten. Shrimp and grits. Bread pudding. Bloody marys and mimosas.
AMAZING. Now I’m wondering… Why don’t more people get married on Sunday mornings?! I’m still obsessed.
Also, they opted against a traditional wedding cake and had a very cool croquembouche instead. Yes please.
Despite all of these details being fantastic, those weren’t even the things that made this wedding the best. It was the people. I honestly don’t think I’ve seen a happier bride than Anna was that day. No photos exist of her without the BIGGEST smile on her face! (unless I was telling her to give me a serious look, of course LOL)
All in all, it was one of the most joyful wedding celebrations I’ve been a part of. I feel so blessed to have gotten to know such a great couple, and I feel even more blessed that I was able to capture such a special day.
