I strive to make my clients feel comfortable and confident. I always get to know my clients on a personal level. I want you to think of me more like a friend and less like a vendor. At the end of the day, you’ll walk away with the experience of a fun and laid-back photo-shoot, as well as the joy of knowing you’ll have some beautiful memories with your loved one preserved for years to come.

What happens after you’re done with our photos? Do I get to keep them and print them myself?

Yes! You will receive your images through an online viewing gallery. Through the gallery, you will have access to download your photos as high-resolution files. You will receive the gallery via an email including all instructions for downloading, as well as recommendations and suggestions for printing!

How many photos will I get?

For weddings, you will receive anywhere from 400-600 images from your wedding day, depending on how many hours I am covering. I don’t want to overwhelm you with thousands of photos, so I deliver only the good stuff! No blinks or “mess ups”. (Unless they happen to be funny and I think you’d enjoy them!) For portrait sessions, you will receive approximately 40-50 images.

Will all of these photos be edited?

Yes! Every image that you receive from me will be carefully color-corrected so that it looks cohesive with all of the photos you find on this website. Can I get rid of your breakouts? Absolutely! Can I make you look 10 lbs. slimmer? That’s not really my style! You are beautiful just the way you are, and I’m not all about that unrealistic Photoshopped perfection. Will I make you look like the best version of yourself? That’s exactly what I am going to do!

How long will it take to get my photos back after our shoot?

This varies depending on the time of the year and what my schedule looks like at the time, but my average turnaround time is 6 weeks for weddings and 4 weeks for portrait sessions. If you need your photos done by a certain date, let’s plan your shoot accordingly!

I’m on the fence about an engagement session. Do you suggest we have an engagement session before the wedding?

Just trust me on this... You do want an engagement session! This isn’t me trying to make more money off of you. This is just me wanting to get to know you and your fiancé before I photograph your wedding day! Not only does the engagement session allow us to all get to know each other better... It allows me to learn more about you and your relationship, how you interact with each other, and how I can photograph you best! The engagement session makes it more fun (and less awkward) for us to work together on the wedding day because by then we are friends! Plus, you’re going to get some photos that you love to celebrate this exciting time in your lives! You’ll be glad you have these to look back on in years to come. It’s just a win win, y’all.

Where should we take our photos? Could you just pick the location for us?

Locations are so much more fun and inspiring whenever they are personal to the people I’m photographing! A piece of land that belongs to a family member, the spot where you first met or got engaged, a place that embodies the activities you love to do together most. These are just examples, but I can tell you that my favorite images happen whenever I don’t choose the location! Because I don’t know you well enough yet, and I want your photos to be as true to your personality and life as possible. If you’re totally stuck on where to go, of course I will help you out with some suggestions… But I encourage you to sit down with your fiancé and try to figure out what type of location would feel most like “you”. Forget about Pinterest and what you THINK your engagement photos should look like. Let’s make them look like you! There’s honestly nothing better than that!
