Weddings

Kirby + Todd | Wedding | Old Governor’s Mansion | Baton Rouge, La.

I always love weddings, but when the bride is a friend, it takes the love to a whole new level.

Kirby has worked with my sister for years, so we’ve been friends for a while…  So I was thrilled when Todd popped the question and Kirby emailed me almost instantly asking me to be their photographer!  <3

I’m friends with most of her bridesmaids too (my sister was one of them),  so that made things even more fun!  The girls got ready early so we could have plenty of time to walk around downtown to take photos before heading ceremony.  This made for some killer bridesmaids shots.  My favorite bridesmaids photos I’ve taken so far, to be exact!  Providing spare time to take portraits is the best thing you could ever do on your wedding day.  Trust me.

Sidenote:  The groom, Todd, is the drummer in a super fun Baton Rouge cover band, AM/FM.  Naturally, at the end of the night their band took over and put on an awesome show for all of the guests.  This was seriously such a fun celebration!

They wore blue shoes.  They had chocolate cake.  They danced and partied the night away.  I loved every minute of it.
